Vitae Civilis – Development, Environment and Peace Institute, is a non-profit and non-governmental  organization that aims to contribute to the construction of sustainable societies through the support given to the participatory implementation of integrated public policies. Strenghtening initiatives that foster income generation and employment associated to environmental sustainability; generating and disseminating knowledge and practices in the following fields: climate, energy, water and environmental services; as well as strenghtening civil society organizations and initiatives in these areas are part of our actions. Vitae Civilis, in Latin, means “for the civil society”. This indicates the Institute’s choice to, in it’s activities, contribute in order to strenghtening citizenship and society organizations.
